Thank you for your comment. Moving to alternative fuel sources definitely involves a change in the way that we think. We have a lot more reading about alternative fuels here at LoveToKnow - http://greenliving.lovetoknow.com/Category:Alternative_Fuel
-- Contributed by: K PullenWhich of the following you be better for our future would it be ethanol or would it be regular gas? Because people are so use to using gasoline, and would that be an easy switch for America to make? And has there been any other countries that made the switch to ethonal?
-- Contributed by: cali_slash_wisconsin_chickThank you for your comment, Bryan, that is an important question. Kate
-- Contributed by: K PullenI'm not sure what a "good" world price for corn+grain is. About 5 years ago, I was indoctrinated in College that the combination of Agribusiness, GMO, and US subsidies resulted in such a low price for corn that foreign farmers couldn't compete, and countries wound up unable to be self-relaint in food.
Now that ethanol is propping up grain prices, any third-world country with good land can grow a cash crop in high demand.
% years ago, LOW food prices were bad: now it's HIGH food prices. Is there a "Goldilocks" level for food prices?
-- Contributed by: BryanThank you for your comment, Max, you raise an interesting point. Kate
-- Contributed by: K PullenThe use of ethenol fuels is a good idea but as people begin to convert to the ethenol the price of produce will begin to climb and hunger aroud the world will become more frequent
-- Contributed by: MaxThank you for your comment. There is a little more information at this website http://www.change2e85.com/servlet/Page?template=Myths which addresses your concern. A local garage may also be able to give you more advise specifically to do with your car. Kate

-- Contributed by: c.clayThat corn being shoved in the gas tank is funny. I think with the current food crisis, we should be shoving corn into the mouths of hungry Children.
-- Contributed by: ChrisMe~ Did you read the article or just look at the picture? If you read the article you would fully understand what the picture means. I would explain it to you but it would probably be best if you just read the article yourself.
