Don't be aggressive – a slogan needs to be short and to the point, however it should not come over as being overtly aggressive. With the environment being such an important cause, it can be tempting to create slogans that imply 'do this or else' (for instance 'save the earth or die'). This can potentially turn people away and put them off learning more about how they can help the environment.
Fun and amusing – people are receptive to things that make them smile. While environmental issues are extremely serious, the message can sometimes be given in a fun or amusing way. This isn't always appropriate, however an amusing slogan can be an important part of a mix of communication tools.
